Boehringer Ingelheim Research Awards
As part of the Veterinary Scholar Program, each year Boehringer Ingelheim presents awards for exemplary research projects. The winners are recognized at the Veterinary Scholars Symposium, where they have an opportunity to present their research findings to their peers. Two awards are given annually: The Boehringer Ingelheim Research Award for Graduate Veterinarians and the Boehringer Ingelheim Research Award for Veterinary Students.
Award for Graduate Veterinarians
This award is open to graduate veterinarians who will soon complete or have recently completed a PhD program in the biomedical sciences, or who are in the final 1 to 2 years of completing residency training in the field of veterinary medicine.
Award for Veterinary Students
This award is open to veterinary students who participated in the summer scholar program, attended the Veterinary Scholars Symposium, presented their work in the form of a poster, and completed their proposed project work plan by December 30th 2024.
