Lyon

With more than 1,500 employees, the Lyon area is now Boehringer Ingelheim's center of activity in France, and home to six of the company’s nine French sites. The French headquarters and the animal health headquarters are located in the life sciences district of Lyon.

In this area, Boehringer Ingelheim is present across the entire animal health value chain: research and development, production, and supply of veterinary products. Since 2019, nearly €500 million have been invested into R&D and production sites in the region of Lyon.

The Grand Lyon industrial biologic center is one of the largest supply centers in Boehringer Ingelheim’s global network. It combines three core facilities:

Ingelheim

The company headquarters of Boehringer Ingelheim are located in Ingelheim, Germany. It is the largest site, serving both launch and commercial supply.
